My brother-in-law and I have been competing against each other for months. One more rule: Make a dummy hand with one of each resource face down and shuffled. A trade into the face down dummy hand may be used once per turn at 1:1. You never know what you will get, and it helps for the lack of player trading. These are good rules for the variation!
