Episode 152: “mauw”

Another installment of Simon’s Cat!

Video of The Day: On Time

December 7th, 2009

Episode 151: “Every moment is a chance to get ahead.”

Brilliant short movie about a traveling salesman selling glimpses of the future in his suitcase.

Episode 150: “If animals can recycle, so can we”

Wow, this is the 150th Video of The Day post I’ve done! This video is a collection of 11 shorts from Animal Planet to highlight ‘going green’. They’re from 2008, but this is the first time I’ve come across them (I don’t watch that much Animal Planet myself), so I thought I’d share them with you:

Episode 149: “And you’re like… sweet”

This might be the best explanation of Google Wave I’ve seen so far:

Btw, I still have 16 invites to Google Wave left, so if anyone wants one just leave a comment behind here.

Episode 147: “Let me throw!”

I know I just posted a ‘Video of the Day’ just a couple of hours ago, but this one tops it!

I love the Muppet viral videos that have been coming out since last year, and this one is the best of them so far:

AWESOME!

I remember when the viral Muppet videos came out last year, that nobody was really sure where they came from, who had made them. But it turns out the Muppet Studio is behind all of them, with more coming in 2010.

Episode 146: “Your cells… under new management”

Enjoy:

Video of The Day: LEGO Pop-Up

November 2nd, 2009

Episode 145: “1397 3 In 1”

Stunning piece of Lego, I wonder how many hours it took to build this:

Episode 144: “Mauw”

I actually thought I had blogged about this video when it came out 3 weeks ago, but with all the stuff I’ve got going I somehow forgot to actually write the post (you know how sometimes you have a dream just before waking up, that you’re waking up, getting out of bed and going through all the motions of getting ready for work? And then you realize you were actually still asleep and dreaming? Like that but for a blog post.)

You all must be familiar with Simon’s Cat by now (Cat Man Do, Let Me In and TV Dinner, The Fly), so enjoy the latest episode of his antics:

I was also thrilled to find out there’s also now an actual Simon’s Cat book and it’s only £6.48 on Amazon.co.uk. I think it could make a perfect Christmas present for someone (right along with the Bunny Suicides).

Episode 143: “Your resistance to my charm now ends, when I belt these power chords”

I’m pretty much addicted to Neil Patrick Harris’s singing (wish he sang more at the Emmy’s), so when I found out he was a musical villain on Batman: The Brave and The Bold I knew I had to see it. Mind you, I’ve never caught a single episode of this version of Batman, so wasn’t even familiar with who’s in it (besides Batman, that is).

Having watched though I have to say I love this musical episode! I’m not sure if I’d watch more eps beyond this one, but Mayhem of the Music Meister is completely worth it. Here’s the entire episode:

Episode 142: “Google”

Cute little animation from Google Japan to explain how Street View works:
