You all know how much I love Hugh Jackman singing, and somehow I stumbled on these videos! They’re from a Disney channel Christmas concert where Hugh presented and sang.

I can’t figure out if the following one is from that same concert or not (I don’t think it is), but it’s the best of the four videos (that high note at the end!):

And a final one with Hugh singing Hark The Herald Angels Sing:

How nice! Thank you for sharing. He does have a theatrical talent he shouldn’t forget about…

Just to clarify…
These are live Christmas shows shown on TV in Australia. They did them every year in one of the big outdoor arenas and broadcast them to the whole country. They alternate between Melbourne and Sydney. 1&2 are from 1998 “Carols in the Domain” in Sydney. He was on a break from Oklahoma which he was doing in London at the time. That’s why he has the Curly perm. #3&4 are from 1997 “Carols By Candlelight” in Melbourne He was the host for both shows.

The Disney Channel characters were guests on the 1998 show. Also, the little boy in that video was in the original Boy From Oz in Australia at the time. Hugh did the show on Broadway in 2003 and in 2006 he did the Arena Tour of the show, performing in these same arenas as well as other arenas around the country.

@Isabelle: Yeah, he does. There are rumours he’ll be doing a musical together with Anne Hathaway. Finger crossed he does, cause I love his voice.

@Burgess: Thanks for the explanation! I tried to find more info on it, but didn’t get that far. Thanks!

Hugh Jackman is so gifted in many areas. Such a talent and gift should never, never be wasted. His singing voice is so uplifting!!! You can see that he actually “feels” the lyrics and music of each song. In many ways he is a child (when called for), but the “man”, the “adult” is ever present. There is nothing he cannot accomplish. He is gifted from above, and he puts his talent to very good use. He never uplifts himself, and is so very humble. These qualities are rarely found in anyone, but even more rarely in someone with as many gifts as Hugh. I thank Jesus for these gifts, and I ask Him to continue to bless Mr. Jackman in all that he does and use it to His glory!! Merry Christmas to Mr. Jackman and his family. Merry Christmas to all, and many blessings.
