• Funny Kitten – Awh, it’s a dancing ASCII art kitten! Some people have too much spare time.
• Only in Russia? – Are these for real? Some of these photos are just ridiculous. That street lamp? The door above the heater?
• How To Solve A Rubik’s Cube – Pictures for Beginners! – A tutorial on how to solve a Rubik’s Cube. Haven’t tried it out yet, but it’s one of those skills I’ve always wanted to learn. Yes, I’m that much of a geek.

Interesting links for January 30th through January 31st:

• Another 20 Unfortunate Product Names – The List Universe – A list of products that don’t have the most advantageous names. Seriously though, why would companies even bother naming their products like this? Isn’t this just plain stupidness?
• Muxicall – Create music online with other people. Trust me it’s not what you expect. There’s a grid of all the possible notes and the played notes of you and the other people are visualized on it.
• Don’t Click It – Experimental web design without buttons. It’s kind of weird not having anything to click.
• Creative photos by Chema Madoz – Very cool set of photos. I especially love the cherry in the scales and the ladder against the mirror.

Interesting links for January 29th:

• MoCo Loco: Hanse Colani Rotor House – Weird design for a house with a rotating cylinder, containing the living room, bath room, bedroom and kitchen (as in each time you only see one and the others are hidden). Strange as it is, I think the concept might actually work.
• The Photo Crazy Blog – Macro Insects – Beautiful photos of insects. Is it weird that I find the 4th one cute? What kind of insect is that??
• Byokal : www.zefrank.com – Fun little game/app/toy that lets you play with a kaleidoscope
• The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts – Fascinating list of puzzling artifacts. Who made them, how were they made, and why did they make it?
• Flash Movie – Outlines – Cute little flash movie where the outlines of people are jumping/dancing to a piece of music
• Amazing Dots – Cool optical illusion
• Neuroscience: One Pill Makes You Autistic – And One Pill Changes You Back – This is just a weird future idea; I don’t see myself slipping a pill to become autistic for a few hours, even if it would make work easier.

• Jumper: The Prequel Comic – I was already quite psyched for Jumper (Hayden Christensen and Sam the Man Jackson), and now they’ve brought out this comic prequel. Seems pretty cool.
• Exclusive stills and update on adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s Chrysalis – First look at the movie Chrysalis. I don’t know any of the actors and judging the movie stills, I wouldn’t hope too much for this movie. Plot sounds nice and sci-fi-y though.
• Security in a Chair » Yanko Design – Now this is a smart design. When I’m at a restaurant or cafe, I hate having to put my coat over the chair and my bag just on the ground. This is the way it should be.
• Flickr Photo Download: Corporate Connection v.2, 2003 – Cool visualization of how certain companies/brands are tied together.

• Writers Strike May Revive GALACTICA Prequel?? — Ain’t It Cool News – This may be the first good effect of the strike; I always loved the idea of Caprica, a sci-fi family saga set two generations before BSG.
• AirMail: Manila envelope laptop sleeve for MacBook Air – Lol, it’s been only a couple of days since the MBAir was announced and there’s already a Envelope sleeve available. I have to admit if I had a MBA, I would have gotten this sleeve.
• Kako Ueda.com, artist – Beautiful reliefs and images, some of them are completely cut out of paper.
