Episode 92: “Kiss a wookie, Kick a droid, Fly the Falcon through an asteroid”

Maybe by now you’ve seen this video already (it’s been flying around the tubes lately), but in case you haven’t… here it is:

Episode 91: “The panic on Wall Street has now reached Main Street”

Natalie Portman and Rashida Jones have the perfect solution to the financial crisis:

Episode 90: “When what we want constantly redefines itself, shouldn’t how we watch it do the same?”

Here’s a cool ad from Toshiba:

I remember being so stunned the first time I saw “bullet time” in The Matrix, but since then it’s been used mainly as an extra stunt effect. And now here we have one step further, creating an even weirder type of effect. I’m curious to see how this can be applied in “normal” movies.

Episode 89: “Evening, Commissioner”

Just a quick post before diving into bed and getting some much needed wonderful sleep. I’m back from my trip to Middlesbrough and both the presentation and workshop (although I say so myself) went pretty well. I’ll blog about it some though later this week.

For now, back to the video: this may be one of the better trailer mash-ups I’ve seen lately:

Episode 88: “How bouta kiss?”

I love the Super Mario games. They were the first real console games I ever played. I still have my trustworthy little NES (plus the Duck Hunt gun) and it’s something I’ll never sell or give away.

This clip just made me laugh out loud:

Episode 87: “I have Google Maps”

I don’t always find all the College Humor videos funny, but this one is pretty good:

If All Movies Had Cell Phones from CollegeHumor.com

I love the Labyrinth one! Can you imagine how other movies might be if they had cellphones in them?

Episode 86: “Sometimes the film has to be delayed”

After watching this I’ll never look at a movie poster the same way:

Episode 85: “Shake it!”

There’s a very cool ad for the new Wario game Wario Land: Shake It! on the Wii, but sadly I can’t embed here it. So head on over to YouTube to check out (trust me, you’ve got to take a look).

Episode 84: Using pads for pop-up dispensers

How many hours of “work” went into making this?

Episode 83: …ninja kittehs are silent like the wind…

I wish I could teach my cat to do this:
