I don’t often wear nail polish; I do love how it can look, but it just takes too much time and hassle to apply properly. Half of the times I apply it myself, I end up having to use nail polish remover to get it looking right. On the other hand, I could never imagine going to a nail salon and getting my nails done there; I can think of better things to spend my money on (like books, or movies, or games).

These notebooks are so cute! They’re only 8.25cm by 11.5cm, so whether they’re practical is another question. But they are cute.

There are 15 different notebooks in total: Words about Love, Cheerful Thoughts, Sweet Nothings, Those Wonderful Books, Friends, Children, Travel, Fishing, Encouragement, House and Home, Cooks – On Food, Eating and Cooking, Incomplete Book of Cat Names, Incomplete Book of Dog Names, Retirement and Growing Older, and On Gardens and Gardening.

I wish these came in larger sizes. I love the design and would so use these for blogposts and notes! But with such a small size, I just don’t think I’d use them.

This is a little bit weird and creepy, but at the same time I love how this looks. OctopusME is an Etsy seller who specializes in sterling silver cast octopus parts… made from actual sushi grade octopus. I think it’s gorgeous, but at the same I’m a bit creeped out by it.
