I think the draw of mobile homes has always been the price, and some extent the ease of maintenance. The downside is they’re the only kind of house that depreciates instead of appreciates. I love the location of those Airstreams, but I’d hate to be home during a strong wind.
It’s interesting how different movie tastes are in NYC from here in the Dallas area. The old saying that goes “this film’s for New York” is true, I guess.
