Having attended BarCamps since 2007, I got involved in the organization of BarCampLondon7 last year. I took care of securing sponsorships and worked closely with brands and companies to ensure their presence at the event.
Geeks of London (London Geek Dinners), 2008-Now
Co-Organizer
In 2008 I took over the organization of the London Geek Dinners, a monthly event for the London Tech community. I was in charge of the arranging speakers, securing venues, food and sponsorship, and promoting the events through social media. Beginning of 2010, the event was rebranded to Geeks of London to allow spinoffs meet-ups, like movie screenings and quizzes.

Writer, Editor and Social Media Expert
In 2007 I founded MissGeeky.com, a blog about all things geeky. Since then it has grown to a readership of 25,000 per month. I am often invited to cover tech conferences, movie screenings and press conferences, and have participated in multiple online conference call interviews.

Teaching Assistant
For three years I was a teaching assistant for several courses and faculties. This included “Introduction Software Design” and “Knowledge-Based Systems” to Computer Science students, “Java Programming” to Aerospace Engineering and Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management Engineering students, and “Programming in Delphi” to Marine Technology and Mechanical Engineering students.
