Back in February I blogged about 5 Geeky Necklaces and ended up getting 2 of them for my birthday. My favourite one which I wear a lot is the Portal necklace from etsy store Land of Rapture.

I’ve been eyeing a second necklace from this store for a while, and now I’ve finally ordered it! It’s the Assassin’s Creed Crest one and I love how it looks:

I can’t wait until it gets delivered and I can wear it. It’s so pretty!

The store has a ton of other cool geeky necklaces and I was tempted to buy a couple of them. The necklaces are almost all between £9 and £12. Here are my favourites:

Star Trek Enterprise Diagram for $16/£10.48

Batman for $16/£10.48:

Companion Cube for $16/£10.48:

Zelda Cameo for $16/£10.48:

Kirkwall Crest for $17/£11.14:

I came across this cute etsy store 4/Four Cards that does snarky printed cards. I’m featuring the four here that I like the most, but they’ve got a ton more on their actual store. I especially like the last one… mainly cause I know some people who could definitely use this card!

I still think it’d be cool to have a map of London on my wall, just not your normal standard map. I love the look of this cut-out one of London:

If you like it, there’s still one more left on Fab for £935 (eek!). If that’s a bit too pricey, they also have the London map on canvas (£95) or as a small print (£19.50).

These redesigns from deviantart artist denism79 are just awesome! He’s reimagined our favourite superheroes and villains in different themes: fantasy, steampunk and rockabilly.

Fantasy Avengers

Steampunk Spider-Man

Rockabilly Batman

These lamps inspired by traditional laboratory beakers from London-based design team Authentics are so cool! They look uber geeky, but are also quite stylish.

The lamps come in three different shapes (cylinder, conical and sphere), two different colours (white and grey), and two different types (pendant and floor). They’re all available on Fab at the moment: the white ones cost £255 and all the greys ones costs £269.

What do you think of these? I think they’d look awesome as kitchen lighting: it’s recipe experiment time!

Forget everything you thought you knew about strength
Forget everything you thought you knew about humans
It’s time to do battle
Meet the Superhumans

Brilliant:

I love this Enterprise Blueprint skirt from etsy store Go Chase Rabbits! It’s so geeky, but also has quite a flattering shape.

The store has also a ton of other awesome skirts! These are my favourites:

The skirts cost all between $40 and $55 and can be shipped to anywhere in the world.

Cool Stuff: eBoy Posters

July 14th, 2012

Ooh, the EU Fab has all the eBoy posters on sale for the next two days! They’re only €2 cheaper, but that still qualifies as sale, right? I got the FooBar poster as a present ages ago, and I still love it:

It’s the type of poster you can stare at it over and over again, and still discover something new. I wish they’d update it though; the poster is missing a couple obvious additions of the past years (and still features some companies that have long disappeared).

I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on the London one (for obvious reasons). It doesn’t seem to have as many geeky references as the FooBar one, but I still love the little details:

They’ve got a whole range of other city posters: Baltimore, Berlin, Cologne, L.A., New York, Paris, Rio, Tokyo and Venice. Take a look at the sale on Fab; all posters are €18. If the sale isn’t available for you, check out eBoy’s actual shop; all posters are there €20/$29.
